Get off my property!

“Get off my Property!” is an ongoing series that explores various mountainous regions of western Austria and eastern Switzerland. The colored markers and poles indicate the property and borders of land or forest owners. Markers and their applied colors are of course meant to be seen! No land owner would want to give up even an inch of their land.. The more intense and contrary a color is, the greater the contrasting effect to the referring image background is, in terms of the graphical effect.

The above images are an excerpt from a much larger series of photographs, currently comprising around 300 images. Most of the photographs are taken with ordinary color negative film, resulting in beautiful colours and film grain within a shallow depth of field.
